Greetings in the Lord,
We extend warm greetings in the Lord and express our deepest gratitude for your prayers and love for our family. Strengthened by those prayers and love, we desire to love, obey, and faithfully follow our Lord Jesus Christ even more.
In 2024, our church has earnestly prayed to study, understand, and obey the Word of God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ diligently, aiming to bear the fruit of the Holy Spirit. By the gracious mercy, love, and protection of our Heavenly Father, our church has strived to be deeply rooted in His Word. Through the study of Revelation, 2 Peter, 1 Samuel, and the Gospel of John, we have worked to set our hearts not on the perishable and fleeting things of this world but on the incorruptible, unfading, and eternal Kingdom of Heaven, strengthening our faith and hope in it.
Over the past year, one family that had been co-laboring with us for five years relocated to another city, while a new family joined us in ministry. During this time, we transitioned from holding separate Korean morning services and English afternoon services to a unified English morning service. Students from the University at Buffalo are now participating in worship and Bible study. We pray for God to send souls who are thirsty and longing for His Word.
Our church seeks to be captivated by the Word of God and to earnestly partake in the body and blood of Jesus. Having been redeemed by the blood of Jesus, we pray to live in a manner worthy of this redemption, setting our hope fully not on the things of this world but on the spiritual, holy, glorious, and honorable inheritance of the Heavenly Kingdom. Furthermore, we pray for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation to open the eyes and ears of our hearts so that we may know the hope of His calling, the riches of the glorious inheritance in Heaven, and the surpassing greatness of His power.
In 2025, we will study the book of Isaiah, praying to learn, understand, and obey God's perfect will and mysteries.
May the grace, mercy, peace, and compassion of God be with you always, overflowing abundantly.
In Christ,
David Lee
